Hi!  I'm Lilia Schastlivaya, owner and massage therapist at Joy of Healing Massage Therapy in Duvall, WA. In December, 2010, my family and I immigrated to Bellevue, WA from Kyrgyzstan. We have thoroughly enjoyed living in Bellevue, Redmond and Bothell. On July 4, 2015, my family and I became American citizens. We are very proud to be citizens of the United States. I speak English and also speak Russian fluently.



After graduating from the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in 1994 as a Medical Doctor, I worked in Rehabilitative Medicine for 16 years. I have a rich medical background which enables me to work with people to help them feel better and become healthier.



After attending the Bellevue Massage School, I have worked as an Licensed Massage Practitioner (LMP) since 2011 at several clinics, as well as my own business. I have practical experience with many massage modalities, including full body relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, deep pressure massage, trigger points massage, pregnancy massage, medical massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, joint & muscle rehabilitation and pain/stress management. I believe my clients will benefit from my background as a Medical Doctor combined with my massage techniques.



My goal is to provide the most effective treatment for painful conditions of the neck, shoulders, back, hips, headaches, fibromyalgia, etc. by focusing on using safe, scientific medical massage.



The mission of Joy of Healing Massage Therapy is to provide safe pain relief through medical massage therapy in a supportive, compassionate environment.
